THROWING ON THE POTTER'S WHEEL FOR YOUTH
Ages: AGES 9-12
Instructor: Kathy Dunn Code: WY-1
Maximum: 8 Students per class Tuition: $230
The curriculum is designed for both young artists who have never taken a wheel throwing class and students with previous experience on the potter's wheel. We will learn beginning forms such as cups, bowls, and saucers. Extensive exploration in beautiful high fire glazes will be covered. Come prepared to get dirty and have a blast! |

HAND BUILDING FOR YOUTH
Ages: AGES 6-8
Instructor: Jennifer Miller Code: WY-2
Maximum: 8 Students per class Tuition: $175
This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to explore the world of hand building through clay. We will learn about clay - where it comes from and what it can do - we will pound it, poke it, roll it, make textures in it and look at pictures of items made of clay. Students lean the basic techniques of clay construction including slab, coil and pinch. The last class of this six week course will be dedicated to glazing the students' work. |
