Studio "Rental Option" is available effective December 1 to individuals of 18 years or older who have previously been students or members at the Canton Clay Works, or individuals who have completed a minimum of one year of formal studio instruction in wheel throwing or hand building/sculpture and have a clear understanding of glaze application. All renters incur the standard CCW firing fees of 3.5 cents per cubic inch. This is not a Co-op.

DECEMBER RENTER OPTION INCLUDES:
- Use of wheel and hand building facilities, including glazes, seven days per week from 9am-8pm.
- Participation in wood/salt firing - one firing per rental period (as needed) with no additional fees as well as glazing your wares for our 50 cubic foot Gas Reduction kiln.
PLEASE NOTE:
- All clay used at CCW must be purchased at CCW at a rate of $25 for 25 pounds
- Important: Firing fees are 3.5 cents per cubic inch. Glaze, bisque, and wood/salt or gas firing are covered in this fee. This rate applies to wares made only during the rental period. Higher rates apply to wares made outside of this time period.
- Cancellation/Refund Policy: In the case of renter cancellation requested no later than 14 days prior to the start, a refund will be issued minus a $50.00 cancellation fee. "Renters option" cancelled at request of renter after the beginning of rental period will be renegotiated with individual member on a prorated basis, including a $100 cancellation fee.

RENTER OPTION INCLUDES:

- 10% discount on CCW workshops during enrolled Rental Option period.
- NO DEADLINES ON AN ONGOING BASIS!!! Student throwing and glazing deadlines do not apply... no down time between quarters! Deadlines would only apply at end of individual's membership increment.
- Renters referring a newly-enrolled student into a class at CCW or a new renter to CCW will receive a one time 25 pound bag of clay at no charge.

General Information and Policies:
- Rent may be paid by cash, check, money order, Visa or Master Card. Rental is only considered complete when payment in full has been made. Partial payments and post dated checks are not accepted.
- Credits & refunds will not be granted due to unexpected events or illness.
- All renters are expected to comply with the CCW guidelines for safety, maintenance and conduct.
